Gallery - Quentin Smith

Quentin is the group's founder, having exhibited a display of his work at the Eccleshall Show in 1995. Before moving to Staffordshire he was a member of the Thurrock Group in Essex. Between 2011 and 2017 he served as President of the Marquetry Society.

Since 2009 he has been self-employed making commission pieces and teaching marquetry at a range of prestigious venues including Harewood House, Denman, Ardington School of Craft and The Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield.
